Physical Description

A pen and ink drawing of the Grand Storehouse burning, from the south-east, probably the Map Office. Entitled 'Awful conflagration at the Tower of London: view of the armoury during the fire, Taken on the spot.' across the top of the sheet; 'Particulars of the Lamentable occurrence' in the lower left-hand corner. Also shows the east side of the White Tower; firemen with hoses and fire engines; Yeomen Warders in uniform.
