Physical Description

Fairly short copper tube fitted with long wooden stock ending in a shoulder-butt. The lock is connected by a long rod to a trigger of normal type near the butt
The lock has a swan neck cock and the pan has a fence and is signed A.LOCK . There is a tall folding backsight of brass positioned at the forward end of the stock which itself swells to a slight butt-shape with a copper plate. The number 364 in painted on the butt in white paint.

This tube in fact continues down through the stock as far as the butt plate but in a smaller bore. Before cleaning in 1979 the number 364 was painted on the stock (but see above FW)
