Returned from loan to Dover Castle 1989.

Physical Description

It has a raised neck and a medial keel which terminates in a point at the waist, which has a narrow flange. The arm and neck edges have plain inward turns. At either arm is a mushroom-headed stud for the shoulderstraps, these have been hammered inside and wired for suspension. At the left of the chest are two deep proofmarks.
It is painted black. The left of the flange is damaged. black.
