Physical Description

Of brass the outer case of wood. A brass plate is attached that reads 'TELESCOPE BY BERGE OF LONDON USED BY THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON AT THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO, PRESENTED BY THE DUKE TO SIR ROBERT PEEL.' Signed by the maker BERGE LONDON LATE RAMSDEN.

Inscriptions and Marks

On wood , brass plate says - Telescope by Berge of London used by Duke of Wellington at the Battle of Waterloo . Presented by the Duke To Sir Robert Peel. On the second to last slide engraved is - Berge London Late Ramsden.
