Physical Description

Barrel stamped with London Gunmaker's Company proof marks Lock with flat lockplate and swan-necked cock, engraved with Royal Cypher and TOWER & WC. The carbine takes a bayonet (No.X.76) with very long neck and a small leaf-shaped blade which when not in use is carried reversed on the barrel, the blade held in a socket on the front of the trigger-guard, the ramrod being off-set to the left. The barrel is secured by three slides
