Physical Description

A tompion is in place in the bore. There is a dispart patch to the muzzle. The first reinforce is marked VR, the second reinforce 3987 ? and Broad Arrow. On the chase is the cypher of the Master General of Ordnance INDUSTRIA and JP (Jonathan Peel), the JP almost rubbed away by 2003. The base ring is marked F.M. EARDLEY WILMOT. The breeching loop integral with cascabel for elevating screw. Mounted on a wooden replica field carriage (XXIII.231).
