Physical Description

The skull is made in two pieces joined in a low comb. The pivoted peak, probably a later association, is broad and flat, with a triple bar faceguard. The neckguard is of one piece embossed to simulate three lames. The main edges have plain inward turns, bordered on the neckguard by nine round headed lining rivets with square washers retaining a full lining band, two more at either side for the missing cheekpieces and by six flush lining rivets round the front of the skull. It is painted black. There is damage at the front of the skull, and a suspension hole there and at the point of the tail.
