Physical Description

It has a cut-out at the neck, shallow arm-openings, and a medial keel terminating in a triangular facet just above the waist which has a flange deepeningto a point at its centre. The neck, arm-openings and waist-flange have plain, inward turns. The edges are bordered by twenty-eight large, round-headed , brass rivets with circular internal washers, and numerous pairs of small holes for stitching on amissing leather edging for the attachment of a lining. At either side of the chest is riveted a brass, mushroom-shaped stud with acircular internal washer to engage the shoulder-straps of the backplate.
Bright with some patches of rust.
