Physical Description

A scarce example with its leather sheath. The blade is made from obsolete socket bayonet stock. The guard is of brass, the hilt of wood with a steel lanyard ring. It is believed that a steel scabbard also can be found with some of these knives. (From R.E. Flook, 'A Photographic Primer of Military Knives').
