Physical Description

Standard British issue BSA-produced Lewis LMG with the Enfield-made pivoting spade-gripped carrying handle fitted to the rear of the cooling jacket. Butt-stock has been officially modified with inserted oil bottle and reinforcing shoe of British pattern (with langet-style straps). Pattern Room label states 'fitted with Mk.III Field Mount', but if this was the case, the weapon is no longer so equipped as of Oct 2017.
