Physical Description

Marked UVF 'For God and Ulster' on stock. Manufactured at the Torre Annunziata arsenal in 1880, converted to a four shot repeating rifle in 1888 at the Terni arsenal as indicated by a cartouche on the right side of the butt stock.With rear quadrant sight, sighted up to 1800 m. Magazine cut off located at the top of the breech. Saftey to the right side of the loading chamber. Two barrel bands, cleaning rod. Swivels located underneath second barrel band and butt.
