Physical Description

6-shot 'officer's model' Mauser C96 pistol with short barrel and frame. Large ring-shaped hammer, 'flat-side' frame, fixed rear sight, later firing pin retainer, 1st type safety catch, integral trigger unit, long extractor, 'Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A/N' nock's form marking. Typical rust-blued finish on frame and barrel/barrel extension, extractor, rear sight and trigger ‘fire blued’, internal parts and the hammer case-hardened. Wooden grips with diamond pattern chequering. No proof marks. Lanyard ring.
