Physical Description

Single-edged blade with profile of an isosceles triangle, both flats and the spind fullered to the point. Short ricasso. Crossguard has a muzzle ring on one side and a round-tipped straight quillon on the other. Grip with two wood plates, and steel pommel in 'bird's head' shape with slot and round button release. Scabbard is triangular in profile, of leather sewn at the blade edge. Chape and locket are brass, with frog stud. With leather frog.
