Physical Description

This device was designed as a gunpowder fired anti-riot weapon capable of discharging stun-bags and marking rounds, contained within a specially designed proprietory shotgun cartridge. The barrel is made from a special alloy and the grip from special high impact plastic known as Lexan. The barrel is part rifled with eight grooves with a right hand twist. The barrel unscrews to load the cartridge. The plastic grip is ridged over its entire length with a threaded base to take a grip extension. A leather wrist strap is is attached to the rear.The firing mechanism is a simple spring loaded plunger operated by a thumb lever. This example is an experimental one with the metal alloy barrel re-enforced by a hard rubber shell.
