Physical Description

The Pocket Prowlette is designed in two pieces; a rifled barrel and a spring-cocked trigger in the handle. It does not use and explosive compounds, but a small gas bottle to expel the missile. The barrel unscrews to contain the stun-bags and the 'Stun-Let' energy bottle. The whole is made in moulded Lexan plastic with a ribbed grip. The trigger is spring powered which activates a rod that impacts the gas bottle releasing the gas that then expels the Stun bag, a simple swivelling aluminium clip acts as a safety and a wrist lanyard is attached to the base of the weapon. The rifled barrel imparts a little spin to the bag that causes the bag to expand to its flat striking shape. The spinning bag continues to the target where it delivers a persuasive wallop to effectively discourage any individual. The manufacturer claims an effective range of up to 50 feet.
