Physical Description

This was a commercially made weapon, modelled on the Martini Enfield service arm. It was probably made in 1914 for sale to the Volunteer Training Corps, a semi official home defence organization whose members purchased their own equipment and weapons mainly Martini .303 in rifles. The backsight is graduated to 1,800 yds.
