Physical Description

The gun is built on the very strong, so called Blitz lock system, with double underlocking lugs, sideclips and a Greener cross-bolt all operated by a Purdey top-bolt. The sliding catch on the wrist both raises a backsight and connects the rifle barrel to the front trigger, the safety is a button on the right side. The breech is lightly engraved and the walnut stock has fine chequering on the half pistol grip and fore-end. The gun is stamped on the right butt with the Luftwaffe eagle which is repeated on the breech of the right barrel. The barrels have a raised chequered, non glare, rib fitted with a bead fore-sight and a flip-up back shight for use of the rifle barrel. sling swivals are fitted to the stock, missing, and to the underside of the barrel.
