Physical Description

The single main plate is embossed with a bulge at the nose and a medial ridge. The ear and eye defences are all forged in one with the main plate. The main edges have roped inward turns with double recessed borders, and all the edges retain their original flush lining rivets. At the centre of the brow is riveted inside a threaded bracket to which the faceted roundel and threaded spike, both apparently original, are attached.
