Physical Description

Long fluted and painted lance, made of softwood, probably fir. Eight flutes on shaft. Traces of gilded decoration and painted patterns in red and black of organic scrolls and lattice work; also punchwork decoration on the top edge of the fluting. Tip of shaft is black with a red band.
