Physical Description

The hilt is of so called 'crab-claw' form. It consists of an ovoid pommel, with pronounced tang-button, a wooden grip bound in (modern) wire and double down-curving quillons and double concentric ring-guards, filled by a futed shell and with chiselled decoration.
The straight blade is two-edged.
