Physical Description

One-piece almond-sahped skull with 'pear-stalk' at apex and upturned brum with a narrow coutersunk border and roped inward turn. The base of the skull is encircled with twelve copper-alloy capped iron lining rivets, three of which are missing. Five of the rivets retain their original decorative copper-alloy washers. Additionally, the rear of the skull has been pierced with a further two holes for the attachment of a missing plume-holder. with decorative copper alloy washers. The rear and front of the brim have been pierced with suspension holes, The overall finish is bright.
