Physical Description

With a raised neck, medial ridge and narrow flange at the waist. The arm and neck edges have inward turns. At either side of the chest is a mushroom-headed stud for attaching the shoulder straps from the backplate. There is a proof mark on the lower right-hand side. There is a later crude suspension hole pierced at the outer edge of each shoulder.

Inscriptions and Marks

Stamped below the neck to right of medial ridge with SK for the maker, and to left with a helmeted A with, below, a crowned CR.There are 6 wedge-shaped construction marks in a flattened diamond pattern on the inner lower right side.
