Physical Description

It has a one piece, almond shaped skull with a short, backward turned stalk at its apex, and a narrow, integral brim, turned down slightly all around, which is slightly wider at the front and the rear than the sides. The edge of the brim has a plain, inward turn accompanied by a narrow, shallow recessed border. The base of the skull is encircled by fourteen holes for the missing lining rivets and their washers. The cheekpieces are both missing. The left of the brim is cracked. The base of the skull is crudely pierced at the nape with a later suspension hole of square form. Bright.
