Physical Description

The head is of steel with a small socket widening sharply to two backward curving points. The haft is of bamboo, with a brass ferrule at the base and a tapering brass socket at the head terminating in a diamond-shaped point. A strip of brass is applied to the front of the haft with bindings of brass wire.

Dimensions: The length of the weapon is 663 mm, the width across the blade is 135 mm. Weight: The weight of the axe is 0.75 kg.
