Physical Description

Wooden mandrel for straight, tapering scabbard with slanted end. There are two centrally-placed holes near the wider end, and a transverse scored line 8 mm (0.3 in.) from the same end.


Condition (when first catalogued in October 1987): The varnished surface has been removed along moast of the edges by later re-shaping. Some black staining on one side.
