Physical Description

The steel tool head consists of a cylinder having a threaded hole in one end and a deep recess, tapered at the mouth and parallel thereafter, at the other end. In the centre of the base of the recess is a raised circular lug, held in place by two diametrically opposed screws passing through the wall of the cylinder.


side of the tool has a pair of incised lines at each end and at the end having the recess the number 10 is stamped, indicating the bore of the cartridge for which it is intended to be used. The lug also has a circular incised line upon its face.


Condition on acquisition: Some surface rusting and pitting.
