Physical Description

The blade is straight and double edged with three narrow fullers on one side and one on the other. The hilt is in the form of a plain, deep gauntlet formerly silvered and gilt, now heavily corroded. It has a bold outward turn at the cuff, and an eliptical ridge at the outside of the wrist.


Dimensions: The length of the blade 934 mm. The overall length is 1285 mm. Weight: The weight of the sword is 1.530 kg.

Inscriptions and Marks

The blade is stamped with three crescent moons and an orb on one side, and a six pointed star and an orb on the other.
