Physical Description

The blade is sharply curved and double edged for a third of its length. It is decorated with a silver medallion with a gold inlaid inscription. The stirrup hilt is of gilt copper, decorated with engraved scrolling foliage. The knuckle bow has a slot for a sword knot. The scabbard is of gilt copper with two suspension loops and a wooden lining. It has a V-shaped drag at the tip of the chape, and is decorated with engraved and punched flowers, foliage and animals.
