Physical Description

With drop down under lever action. Double side by side blued barrels with Whitworth rifling, the right barrel engraved with the name of the maker, the left with his trademark. Back action locks engraved with a snake and a repetition of the makers name. Leather case lined with green baize, the label of Joseph Whitworth & Co. in the lid. The accessories consist of spring-cramp, cartridge-case extractor, two barrel brushes and a jag to fit the missing cleaning rod, a packet of empty but primed cartridge cases, the bases marked WR No.1Express.
