Physical Description

High quality throughout. French-cocked locks and a flat-fronted, two-piece triggerguard. With gold lined raised pans and platinum bushed vents. The lockplate is fitted with a lock safety and a swivel is located beneath the wrist. The stock has cheek piece, and blued furniture throughout. The breech bears the Royal Arms of Hanover, in gold incased in a square which is raised above the barrel. Hexagonal barrel half stocked, with two ramrod pipes. The patchbox is located on the stock with a stag as the central theme of engraving. A button situated on the top of the buttplate tang acts as the release mechanism.
