Physical Description

Blade is straight except for 20mm at the point which has been bent slightly, and is of triangular section, tapering sharply from the forte to the point. There is a baluster moulding at the forte. The grip is barrelled, being wider in the middle and tapering away towards the blade and pommel. It is divided into 8 sections by thin metal bands, each section having a strip of horn inlay. The pommel is a facetted baluster surmounted by a tang button. The quillons are similar in form, topped by round finials. The quillon block is in the form of a squared cross.
