Physical Description

Steel blade is a straight spike of triangualr section and with a sharp taper from forte to tip. The ricasso is of square section with two deep grooves dividing it from the blade. The grip is of square section, tapering slightly towards the pommel, and is bound with a fine copper wire, threaded through with thicker bands of metal. The pommel is hexagonal with a flat-topped tang button. The quillons are of flattened, quadrilateral section, with spatulate terminals and curve downwards parallel with the blade. A simple ring guard protrudes from the quillon block.
