Physical Description

The blade is curved and single edged with three fullers, one broad and two narrow. The langets are onion shaped. The quillons are stubby with a brass star shaped washer in the centre of the quillon block. The knuckle bow is attached to the forward quillon. The pommel is a flat disc with a raised edge, terminating in a central dome and curving spike emerging from a lotus bud. Possibly from the arsenal of Tipu Sultan _
