Physical Description

Straight single edged blade with a straight clipped point stamped with S shaped marks near the hilt. The latter is of scale type built up from layers of iron, brass and tortoiseshell with decorative studs on the end faces. The pommel is formed as an extension of the hilt and is formed like a square C shape. The grip is cut with scallops for finger-grips. There is a crude iron shell-guard made in one with a small rear quillon and a square knuckle-bow. The shell-guard is punched with dots and crude flower shapes.

Dimensions: The length of the blade is 856 mm and the hilt is 147 mm. Weight: The weight of the sword is 1.25 kg
