Physical Description

The blade is forward-curved and single edged with two narrow fullers; towards the tip the back edge gets narrower. The langets are long and onion shaped. The quillons are downward-curved and flat. The guard is broad and dips towards the centre, with cusped sections on either side of the rim. The pommel is disc shaped with a central dome and curved spike. The spike has been broken and repaired.There is a wide knuckle bow attached to the guard and the pommel. The guard and knucklebow are lined with a red velvet cushion on a leather backing. The hilt is bound with tough fabric or leather.
