Physical Description

Long rectangular section tiller with iron reinforced butt and lock. Cranequin lugs to rear of wooden nut which is placed very far forward. From nut to fore-end the top of the tiller is cut with a bolt groove. On front of the nut the top of the tiller is painted MA 7154. Long, octagonal lever trigger.
Heavy steel bow stamped with two marks: on top of the right limb with a crown M; and on top of the left limb with a fleur-de-lys in a circle.
