Physical Description

made of steel.
Steel bow, slightly convex on its upper surface, set through the steel reinforced fore-end of the gun shaped wooden stock which ends in a finial. Steel bending lever recessed into upper surface of butt and combined with the box lock release mechanism. Trigger guard and trigger as used on guns of the same date. Folding cross-hair foresight, but backsight on box locking missing. Stock split at lock and retained by five layer screws.
