Provenance

Formerly Inv. No. XXI.32, it was lent to the London Museum in 1914, found to be missing in 1931 and subsequently written off. After being rediscovered by the MoL in July 1981 it was returned in July 1982.

Physical Description

The bone handle is of rounded section outside the hand and flattened inside the hand, swelling slightly towards the blade. It is punched all over with ring and dot decoration. The blade is now bent but appears to be originally to have hads curved single cutting edge with a rounded back, straight for the most part but falling slightly towards the handle.
