Physical Description

The blade is flaring, with a point at the base, a convex edge and a double cusp on the lower flat near the socket. The integral socket has a medial ridge and a square, flat hammer head at the rear with a low, lozenge-shaped moulding. It is covered with incised floral decoration on a fine punched ground, heavily silvered with traces of gilding on the flowers.
