Physical Description

The blade is of native manufacture, double edged and flat in section with just the edges chamfered off. The cross is of silvered iron, the upper extension opposite the langet being bound to the wooden grip with silver wire. The upper part of the grip is covered by a silver sleeve cast with raised bands, a square on the diagonal with lines crossing it at right angles and with dots in the angles. At the to is a flattened cylindrical pommel in silver with beaded decoration, beaded collars and a silver cube on top with the angles cut off.

Dimensions: The length of the blade is 1900 mm, the overall length of the sword is 1060 mm. Weight: The weight of the sword is 1.18 kg.
