Physical Description

In the style of the 14th century. The wheel pommel is set with two silver coins, or possibly one coin divided in two, probably a renaissance copy of a sestertius of Domitian, the reverse commemorating the Ludi Saeculares. Thick, slightly down curved quillons. Broad heavy blade, crudely engraved on both sides with an eagle displayed and the inscription AUTCARII GLADIVS.
