Physical Description

10-shot 'pre-war commercial' Mauser C96 pistol with standard size frame and barrel length. Typical features including small ring-shaped hammer, shallow milled panels in frame, rear sight graduated 50-1000 (metres), later firing pin retainer, 2nd type safety catch, integral trigger unit, later short extractor, 'Waffenfabrik Mauser' nock's form marking and 'WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A NECKAR' on right hand side frame. Typical rust-blued finish on frame and barrel/barrel extension, extractor, rear sight and trigger ‘fire blued’, internal parts and the hammer case-hardened. Wooden grips with 23 grooves.Typical German proof marks. Original lanyard ring. Wooden stock-holster.
