Physical Description

Chinese contract Mauser M712 (C96) machine pistol with standard size frame and barrel length, with detachable 20 round magazine. Typical features including small ring-shaped hammer without outer ring, wedge-shaped selector switch marked 'N' and 'R' for 'Normalfeuer' and 'Reihenfeuer' (serial fire), stepped profile barrel, shallow milled panels in frame, rear sight graduated 50-1000 (metres), later firing pin retainer, 4th or 'Universal' type safety catch, integral trigger unit, later short extractor, 'Waffenfabrik Mauser' nock's form marking, 'WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P.' on right hand side frame, and Mauser barrel/banner logo on LHS rear milled panel, plus Chinese characters on LHS forward frame. Rust-blued frame, barrel/barrel extension, extractor, rear sight and trigger. Internal parts and the hammer are case-hardened. 12 groove wooden grips.Typical German proof marks. Original lanyard ring. With appropriate holster stock.
