Physical Description

Round faced lockplate fitted with a round faced swan-necked cock and rather pointed frizzen. The stock is of stained wood with iron furniture, butt-plate, trigger guard, side plate and ramrod pipes, all originally plated in sheet silver by cross-hatching. The wrist is chequered. The iron barrel is of chevron pattern damascus steel, octagonal at the breech becoming round, with rather crude koftgari in gold over the whole of the octagonal part and the muzzle.
