Notes

The mon may belong to a branch of the Sakamoto or Sano families, see W.M. Hawley and Kei Kaneda Chappelear,'Mon: The Japanese Family Crest', Hollywood, Ca., 1975, p.35. The quatrefoil design of the choji is represented but the additional leaves may possibly be some form of elaboration on the theme.
