Physical Description

The blade of the sword is kopis shaped, swelling and recrving towards the point. There is a narrow fuller running along the back edge, together with a a wider fuller towards the middle of the blade leaving a flat land that carries an inscription in silver overlay on one side and runninf foliage on the other. There is a shaped cartouche with symmetrical decoration on one side and a circle with a crude six pointed star on the other.
The bolster is of silver filigree with a red stone inset on either side. The filigree decoration is continue around the hilt where it is inset with irregular pieces of red coral having a grooved surface. The scales are of massive proportions of ivory.
the scabbard is of wood with a throat and chape of silver embossed with a spiral band between the turns of which are flowers and foiliage. The chape ends in a dragon's head. Between the two mounts the scabbard is covered in green velvet.

Dimensions: The length of the blade is 63.5 mm, the overall length of the sword is 790 mm, the length of scabbard being 762 mm. Weight: The weight of the sword is 0.9 kg, the weight of the scabbard being 0.35 kg.
