Physical Description

This large shield is of circular shape and of rounded convex section. It is built up concentrically of cane woven with rattan, with a boss of thin brass at the centre. The front is painted with a conventional tiger's face and the back painted red. There are two loops of cane to pass the forearm and hand through and a thick, straight wooden grip.
