Physical Description

The backplate has a flat neck and a rounded neck, with a medium flange at the waist with a central cusp. The main edges have roped inward turns. At either shoulder is a buckle. It is embossed with adorsed volutes, and decorated with three etched bands of foliage with a central panel involving an Amazonomachy and medallions containing Roman portrait busts.
