Physical Description

The breastplate has a flat neck and a shallow peascod, with a narrow flange at the waist and moveable gussets at the arms. The main edges have roped inward turns. At either shoulder is a modern leather strap. It is embossed with adorsed volutes, and decorated with three etched bands of foliage with a central panel involving a classical combat and medallion containing protraits of Minerva and Mars.
