Physical Description

The pommel, of blackened iron, is of 'fig-shape with a small tang-button. the (old) wooden grip is vertically grooved throughout its length. The straight, round section, quillons bear a small ring-guard on each side.. Between the bhilt and blade is aleather washer.
The blade is of flattened hexagonal section and bears ashort central fuller. It has a rectangular ricasso wch bears two short fullers at either edge.
A cross is incised on both faces of the blade and the mark of a 'running wolf' on one.
